What You Need to Know
Course Delivery
- The ACA taught courses are offered on a 09:00-16:30 basis. Courses are usually on weekdays. Only rarely there will be classes on Saturdays.
- Law and Business and Finance (certificate level modules) are offered upon demand as online courses in collaboration with BPP UK.
- The School of Professional Studies of Cyprus College can help you study the six modules online and/or in class.
- The School of Professional Studies of Cyprus College offers a course that enables students to complete all their CFAB modules in 4 months if they wish.
Programme Overview
ICAEW CFAB is the same syllabus content as the first six modules of the ACA (Business and Finance, Management Information, Accounting, Law, Assurance and Principles of Taxation). You can study ICAEW CFAB as a stand-alone qualification or as a possible stepping stone to the ACA qualification. Once you have passed the six ICAEW CFAB exam modules, you gain a certificate of achievement from ICAEW.
To qualify as a CFAB you don’t need to be in a training agreement, you just have to pass the e-assessment exams of the following six modules:
- Management Information: Techniques for managing business information
- Accounting: Introduction to financial accounting principles and techniques
- Law: Understanding legal principles relevant to business and accountancy
- Assurance: Basic of audit and assurance practices
- Principles of Taxation: Fundamental concepts of taxation
- Business and Finance: Overview of business environments and financial management
