Programme Overview
Learners must achieve 335 credits from the following 9 mandatory subjects:
What You Need to Know
Knowledge of English language, plus one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification or equivalent from a recognised institution, or completed year 1 and 2 of an Honour’s degree or
- Minimum of two years’ work experience.
This qualification is assessed through final examinations, which are developed by the SPS, and are internally marked; the final examinations are paper-based exams containing a mix of objective (multiple choice) and longer type questions; in some other subjects the final examinations are only objective (multiple choice) questions. The duration of the final exam varies from 2 hours to 3 hours.
Grading:
The final mark will be either Pass or Fail.
The programme can be completed in 18 months (for students with no exemptions).
Students with related degrees may be eligible for exemptions from both TQUK and/or ACCA, which could allow them to complete the Diploma in less than 18 months.
Holders will be awarded 9 exemptions from the ACCA applied knowledge and applied skills papers, thus providing them with the opportunity to move to the prestigious ACCA qualification. The Diploma is assessed by internal exams in 9 mandatory subjects, which are taken at the SPS premises based on the SPS schedule.
