Aliki Karyda, BSc

Aliki holds a degree in Public Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Cyprus and is a member of the professional body of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She was certified at one of the Big Four audit firms, gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the fields of Financial Reporting and Audit. She also holds a diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (Dip IPSAS) from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accounting (CIPFA).

Aliki has been working full-time at SPS for the past nine years and has experience delivering all ICAEW and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) courses that examine Accounting Standards (such as Corporate Reporting, Strategic Business Reporting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Accounting and Reporting) with outstanding results.

Aliki has developed her own set of notes aimed at making IPSAS more comprehensible to candidates, thereby equipping them with the necessary tools to better meet the demands

of their work. She teaches with passion and enthusiasm, making every effort to clarify the more complex aspects of the syllabus.
