Gregores Fylaktou is a practicing lawyer, with experience in the fields of business, commercial and corporate law. He specializes in regulatory and legal support to international groups, startups, corporations and financial service providers, in particular in the fields of investment, asset management, payments, electronic money and banking. He has an interest in emerging technologies and digitalization and their synergies with the legal profession and practice.
Gregores graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelors in Law (LLB) in 2019. Upon graduation, he pursued his postgraduate studies at Queen Mary University of London, obtaining his Masters in Law (LLM) in Commercial and Corporate Law in 2020 and the title of valedictorian for his graduating year.
Gregores is registered with the Cyprus Bar Association (CyBar), is a holder of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) advanced certification and a member of the Sustainable Finance Committee of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). His recent work includes contributions on a Handbook of Blockchain Technology, a textbook on EU Financial and Monetary Law, as well as delivering presentations and analyses in his areas of work and study.
