The Objectives of the seminar, is to provide participants with the outline of the sound Environmental, Social or Governance risk (ESG) risk management principles and sustainability reporting and ESG disclosures requirements in accordance with the IFRS and European Sustainability Reporting Standards. It outlines the expected sustainability reporting requirements under IFRS S1, IFRS S2 and CSRD.
This seminar aims primarily to satisfy the CPD requirement of CySEC as per “Directive of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the certifications of persons and the certification register” (RAD 22/2017) by offering the overview of sound Environmental, Social or Governance risk (ESG) risk management principles as well as the current developments in sustainability reporting under IFRS and sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector under EU Regulation 219/2088.
