This seminar aims primarily to satisfy the CPD requirement of CySEC as per “Directive of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the certifications of persons and the certification register” (RAD 22/2017) by offering the overview of Credit risk management requirements for financial institutions in accordance with the Central Bank of Cyprus, CySEC and European banking Authority published guidelines.
The seminar will provide an overview of credit risk management requirements, focusing on credit risk identification, evaluation, and measurement in line with the ICARAP and SREP processes. Participants will learn about credit risk components, such as concentration and country risk, and the management environment, including strategy, RAS, KRIs, and limits. Additionally, the seminar will cover credit risk capital allocation (Pillar 1 and Pillar 2), stress testing, and adherence to guidelines from the Central Bank of Cyprus, CySEC, and the European Banking Authority, while fulfilling CySEC’s CPD requirements.
